“Psychotherapy isn't a twentieth-century artifice imposed on nature, but the reinstatement of a natural healing process.”Dr Patricia Love
Psychotherapy is a unique relationship based on the therapist’s mindful attention to your experience. It is a dialogue focusing on meaningful situations that arouse emotions in your life. It creates a trust based space free from judgment of your thoughts and feelings.
“The good news is that the brain is malleable all through life. We can change. But we don’t randomly change. …we can intentionally change if we know what needs to be addressed. The key is to recognize the patterns.”Dr Bruce D. Perry
Psychotherapy process is the time to safely name and experience all emotions, release internal tension, in order to achieve inner peace, maturity and fully engage in activities that bring you a sense of meaning.
Psychotherapy aims to strengthen and equip you with the resources needed for independent functioning in everyday life, not only during the process, but especially afterwards. The most important benefits of this process appear outside the therapy office.
“I believe that a different therapy must be constructed for each patient because each has a unique story”.Irvin D. Yalom
I work in the integrative approach, combining a psychodynamic understanding of the Client with active support of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) therapy techniques, which is an effective and researched approach in the third wave of CBT therapy.
In therapeutic work, an authentic relationship with another person, developing mindfulness of emotions and contact with the body, expanding self-awareness and using the Client’s resources are of particular importance to me.
I am currently seeing patients at the Dialog Therapy Center in Warsaw, registration HERE
There is also a possibility of online meetings, please send a message via the Contact tab.
